Just want to give a ginormous shout-out to Sharon’s Heating & Air Conditioning. We woke up this morning with the house temperature at 57 degrees. Upon quickly checking our furnace, I noticed the draft inducer motor had seized. Although I had never heard of them, I decided to call Sharon’s at 7:30 AM. I didn’t think an inducer motor was a big deal to change, so I gave them a try. However, since my call was before the office was open, a nice lady from their answering service took my information and scheduled a service call for that morning. A short time later, I received a call from Scott, the service technician, saying he’d be at my house in about 20 minutes. Scott and Lou confirmed the inducer motor was in fact seized. However, since our furnace also had a cracked heat exchanger, it could not be repaired. They gave me a reasonable quote for a new furnace, so we decided to go with them. Around 11:30 AM, I received a text message from Chris stating that he’d arrive at my house in 15 minutes to install the new furnace. Sure enough, Chris and Hussien arrived shortly thereafter and did the installation. Everyone who came to my house today, Scott, Lou, Chris, and Hussien, were very polite. And oh, when Sharon’s sends you a text message, they’ll have a picture of the technician coming to your house (so you know who to expect). During the installation, they laid down drop cloths and plastic runners to protect my flooring. Furthermore, Chris and Hussien fixed three items from a previous installation. Long story short, we called Sharon’s at 7:30 AM and had heat by 5:30 PM. Everyone was very polite and professional. I would highly recommend them!

Our furnace has been acting up and I searched YouTube for the issue, ordered and replaced the igniter sensor. That didn’t fix the issue. My sister-in-law had a great experience with Sharon’s Heating & Cooling, so I called Sunday morning and within the hour they were here and replaced the pressure switch, problem solved. Great service. Scott, their technician, was super friendly, explained everything he was doing in detail, fixed the problem, and tested the furnace multiple times to make sure that was the only problem.
UPDATE:
It’s February 2026 and once again our furnace is not heating. We bit the bullet and called Sharon’s Heating and Air Conditioning to replace our 20-year-old furnace. They responded immediately. We had a great meeting with their salesperson, Diane, and installation was scheduled immediately the next day. Ian and Karis arrived on time, protected our home, and about 4 hours later we had a new furnace. Ian and Karis did a great job. The new furnace is physically smaller, so they had to modify the sheet metal. They explained everything they did and went over maintenance things that I can do. Very professional, they left our basement spotless. I highly recommend Sharon’s Heating and Air Conditioning.
